Our Chemicals business, which supports many different industries with metal-based compounds, has been supplying many different chemicals. We supply chemicals that meet the needs of many different industries, including chemicals for use in optical/precision instruments, electronics, ceramics, petrochemical catalysis, healthcare, battery materials, and more. Moreover, in recent years, we have been putting a particular focus on development of products that are sensitive to technological innovations and meet the needs of society, by pursuing development of technologies that facilitate transition to carbon neutrality, such as technologies for improving resource efficiency, recycling, or waste reduction.

For this reason, we make full use of the particle control technology we have cultivated over many years of experience, and strive to not only provide products of stable quality that meet customer requests, but also develop new products.

Organic Metal Compounds
We have a long history in the development of organometallic compounds, having produced naphthenic acid and 2-ethylhexanoic acid, the first metal soaps in Japan, in 1953. Our metal acetylacetone complex “Nacem" is used as a crosslinking agent and coating agent for plastics. Our metal soaps are used as drying agents for paints and printing inks, resin curing agents, organic synthesis catalysts, and metal oxide thin film coating agents.

We are working on the development of 1various saline solutions, brighteners and 1alloy plating processes to support a wide 1range of surface treatments.
